Competence area "Quantitative Modeling of Complex Systems"
Until the end of 2025, the University of Cologne had a Competence area titled “Quantitative Modeling of Complex Systems”. It covered a broad range of topics and brought together various fields of research. This interdisciplinary approach is evident in the annual lecture series “Die Welt im Computer”, the “Computational Sciences” master’s program, which has been offered for several years, and the promotional video:
